About Me

Hello! My name is Phillip Lee Fatt Jr. I am a mid/senior software engineer, specializing in UI, UX, and gameplay. I have about 11 years of professional experience in the gaming industry, having shipped about eight AAA games, one game that has yet to be released, and an internal safety check simulation tool. I have a strong background in developing reusable UI frameworks and creating and polishing screens, online certification systems, and delivering polished software under tight deadlines. In my previous work experience, I learned to quickly adapt to new codebases. I am able to accommodate rapidly changing goals in an agile development environment.

I started my programming journey all the way back in high school, using DarkBasic and Game Maker to create simple games based off of some of my favorite IPs. I receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics at the University of Florida, and went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Interactive Entertainment in Game Programming at University of Central Florida’s Interactive Entertainment Academy.

After my education, I spent the next 11 years at Iron Galaxy Studios, working on various games at the AAA professional level, such as Spyro: Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. It makes me feel proud to see my work be enjoyed by players all over the world and be able to act on my passion for video games, collaborating with the amazing people of the industry. I hope to be able to continue my journey in games and continue to create and inspire people with my work.
